MEET OUR TEAM

Stephanie Resendiz, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Kinesiology in 2015. She then pursued her DPT at Thomas Jefferson University and graduated in 2018. Just a few months later, she started her fellowship with the Manual Therapy Institute and then went on to obtain her status as Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) in 2022. Stephanie is also a board-certified orthopedic specialist, earning the credentials of OCS in 2020.

Stephanie currently practices full-time in an outpatient clinic in West Chester, PA, where she serves as Clinical Manager. She is also a mentor and course instructor for therapists in an Orthopedic Residency program in the Chester and York County regions, with the focus of evaluation and treatment of the temporomandibular joint. In addition to this, she has developed a course for dentists to further identify temporomandibular disorder in the community and promote interdisciplinary treatment approaches for these patients.

Stephanie’s clinical approach focuses on identifying specific movement dysfunctions and developing an individualized treatment plan based on those findings. She utilizes manual therapy techniques and specific exercises to optimize the movement patterns needed to achieve individual goals and return to functional and recreational activities. She has a passion for education, which starts in the clinic with patients and extends to students and other Physical Therapists.
